Some people like their art on their walls, I like it on my floors. If I had my time again I would definitely have laid down tiles in my hallway. Floor tiles can stretch what may be a narrow passageway and can add a sense of grandeur to a large hallway (a la Kardashian homestead). With all the footfall they get, I love the fact they are a lot easier to clean than carpet and even the old floorboards we have.
We are talking about extending our kitchen in the future (a few years down the line says my husband) and when we do that I will definitely be adding colour on my floor with tiles.
